Basketball Club

To create future Timberlake athletes with strong character, great work ethic, emotional tenacity, and elite level basketball skills.
In order for players to reach their highest potential as a basketball player, they will need to play at the highest level of competition and against the best opposing players possible.
AAU / Club basketball helps achieve this.
Competing against higher level talent forces players to raise their game and also exposes their weaknesses and shows players how and where they can improve.

PROGRAM ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish and protect the mission, vision, and core values of the program.
Provide oversight and accountability to ensure decisions align with the Club’s purpose.
Prioritize long-term player development over short-term outcomes.
Manage finances, fundraising, and resources responsibly as a 501(c)(3).
Serve as a long-term advocate for student-athlete well-being, growth, and opportunity.

Show up consistently and give full effort.
Put the WE (team) before the ME!
Maintain discipline in academics, rest, nutrition, and conduct.
Be coachable and open to feedback. The best players WANT to be coached; they understand coaching leads to improvement!
Build positive team culture through daily actions. If you want to be TRUSTED, be TRUSTWORTHY in all you do!
